Spire Armor Trim
Spire is an endgame trim. It sits in end city chests on the outer islands, so you need to beat the Ender Dragon before you can go looking.

Spire stretches tall, pointed lines up the body like the towers of an end city. It makes the wearer look taller and leaner. Amethyst and quartz bring out its End-dimension elegance, while gold on netherite looks royal.
Where to find the Spire template
After defeating the Ender Dragon, throw an ender pearl into an end gateway to reach the outer End islands. End cities are tall purpur towers; some have an end ship floating beside them.
Chests are found in tower rooms and on the ship. Each has a 6.7% chance of a Spire template. Clearing a large city with several chests gives you decent odds.
Field tips
- Shulkers inflict levitation. Keep slow falling potions or a water bucket ready.
- The end ship holds an elytra and a dragon head. Grab them on the same trip.
- Purpur blocks for duplication can be mined straight from the city walls.
Chance to find Spire
Each of the end city chests you check has a 6.7% chance to contain the template. Enter how many you plan to check to see your odds of finding at least one.

How to duplicate Spire
Templates are used up at the smithing table, so copy yours before you apply it. The recipe costs seven diamonds and one purpur block, and gives you two templates.
Applying the trim
At a smithing table, put the template in the first slot, the armor piece in the second and your trim material in the third. Repeat for each piece. Each piece takes one template, so a full set needs four.

Can I find Spire before beating the dragon?
Not normally. End cities are on the outer islands, which you reach through the end gateways that open after the dragon dies.
Do end ships always have a chest?
Yes, each end ship has two chests along with its elytra.
